We have started learning the set piece for SYF 2009.
It is not simple as you can see, or rather hear. Which also means that we have to put in a lot more effort to pull it off. No matter how tough the rehearsals go, each and every one of us are part of it. So let's do it all together. From now till the competition day is approximately 3months. Time is running out because we still have other songs to learn, to perfect. All of us are tied down with school work. The Sec 2s are having streaming this year. The Sec 3s are having new subjects this year which they have to learn how to cope with. The Sec 4s are having O Levels this year. Still, no matter how tough it gets we, Westwood Chorus must strive to achieve. Achieve what, you may ask.
Achieve the one single goal which all of us have in mind.
By working hard,
By singing our best,
By not being afraid to make mistakes.
By working together.
CCA Fair was yet another fun and tiring day. All of you did your best and have put in a lot of effort for this event, so a big thank you and a pat on your backs. (: Tomorrow is another tiring week, so brace yourselves for it.
Do take good care of yourselves. Drink more water.
